The South Africa Mission Trip is right around the corner. We want to invite you to participate with us as we prepare to go. The trip is from August 27th to September 12th. However, the celebrations begin this Sunday with a South African Food Festival from 9:45am till 1:30pm in the gym. Traditional food will be enjoyed (as well as hot dogs for the kids) in a festive environment.
Additionally, the Tree of Hope Project will be launched. This project is an effort to adopt 49 orphans in the area the mission team will be ministering. The adoption center is located in the foyer.
The mission team is also collecting stationery supplies to take over to South Africa. These supplies will help stock an educational center which serves the orphans and students at Durban Deep Primary School. The children and youth departments have already started collecting supplies for the mission trip.

Hungry? The melktart pictured below will be available for dessert at the South African Food Festival mentioned above. We will also be serving boerewors,corn on the cob, and salad. Hope to see you there!
